EC-Engineering is a system supplier for railway interior and exterior parts made of fibre-reinforced plastic materials and sandwich solutions.
Typical products are ready-to-install and complete modules for modern train interiors and exteriors, such as load-bearing wall-systems and stairs for double-decker coaches, panelling systems for windowed walls, floors, exterior roofs and front-ends for metros and trams.
EC-Engineering offers a complete range of services from scanning the customer requirements to series production of the final product, including modelling, preliminary design, product design, prototype manufacturing, verifying, testing and production.
Innovative technical solutions, latest design tools, modern production facilities, certified quality system and a long experience in flexible co-operation with the railway industry all take part in creating added value for customers.
Customer needs are the starting point for the product design. Complete 3-dimensional visualisation of the products can be done before the final specification. Efficient materials and optimal construction are chosen in co-operation with customers in order to meet official regulations and other needs. The design procedure includes all necessary steps, such as structural analysis and experiments to verify the design. Official tests for fire and other classification can be arranged to meet German, French and other European standards.
While serving the railway industry since the start of the company in 1995, EC-Engineering has been steadily growing and forms today a strong partner to meet new challenges together with the customers. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 as well as according to ISO 14001:2004
EC-Engineering’s new increased production facilities have been inaugurated in August 2005. Modern manufacturing methods as well as skilled and motivated staff allow for highly efficient production while increasing workers safety and reducing environmental impacts.
